About Asthalin Rotacaps
Asthalin Rotacaps are a medication used for respiratory conditions like asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. They are designed to provide quick relief from symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness.
The active ingredient in Asthalin Rotacaps is Salbutamol (also known as Albuterol in some regions).
Uses
It is used to prevent and relieve asthma symptoms, including those triggered by exercise (exercise-induced bronchospasm). It acts as a “rescue medication” for quick relief during an asthma attack.
This includes conditions like chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Asthalin Respules help to alleviate the symptoms of COPD by improving airflow.
Mechanism of Action
Salbutamol belongs to a class of medicines called bronchodilators, specifically short-acting beta2-adrenergic agonists. When inhaled, salbutamol acts on specific receptors in the smooth muscles of the airways in your lungs.
The relaxation of these muscles leads to the widening (dilation) of the bronchial tubes, making it easier for air to flow in and out of the lungs. Improving airflow helps to alleviate symptoms and reduce the impact of inflammation on breathing.
