About Maxiflo Forte Rotacaps
Maxiflo Forte Rotacaps is an inhalation medicine commonly used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It should never be swallowed.
This is a long-acting bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, which helps to widen them and make breathing easier.
Uses
It’s for inhalation only and should be used with a device called a rotahaler. It should be taken regularly at the same time each day for it to be effective.
It does not work immediately and should not be used to relieve sudden asthma attacks. For sudden breathing problems, you should use your quick-relief (rescue) inhaler.
How it works
By combining a steroid and a bronchodilator, Maxiflo Forte Rotacaps works to both reduce inflammation and keep the airways open, leading to improved breathing and reduced symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing.
It comes as Rotacaps, which are small capsules containing a powdered medication. These are meant for inhalation only and are used with a special device called a rotahaler. They should never be swallowed.
Side Effects
- Headache
- Cough

If any of these side effects worsen or don’t improve, you should consult your doctor. More serious side effects are unlikely because only minimal amounts of the medicine are absorbed into the bloodstream after inhalation.
