About Silvitra 120 Mg
Silvitra 120 mg is a combination medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains two active ingredients (Sildenafil 100 mg + Vardenafil 20 mg).
This is the same active ingredient found in Viagra. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, increasing blood flow, and facilitating an erection when sexually stimulated.
Uses
This is the main and intended use of Silvitra 120 mg. It contains a combination of Sildenafil (100 mg) and Vardenafil (20 mg), both of which are PDE5 inhibitors.
When a man is sexually stimulated, cGMP (cyclic guanosine monophosphate) is produced, which relaxes the smooth muscles in the penis and allows more blood to flow in, leading to an erection. PDE5 enzymes break down cGMP.
How it works
Silvitra 120 mg works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). This enzyme is responsible for breaking down cGMP, a substance that causes smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow to the penis.
By blocking PDE5, Silvitra helps to sustain the effects of cGMP, leading to improved and longer-lasting erections.
Side Effects
As with any medication, Silvitra 120 mg can cause side effects. Common side effects may include:
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Flushing (redness and warmth in the face)
- Indigestion/Upset stomach
- Nausea
- Nasal congestion
Precautions
Do not take Silvitra 120 mg if you are also taking nitrate drugs for chest pain or heart problems (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate), as this can cause a sudden and dangerous drop in blood pressure.
Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience dizziness or blurred vision. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
