How to use it
Load the dose by twisting the colored base of the Symbicort Turbohaler 160 Mcg inhaler as far as it will go in one direction, then twist it back until it clicks.
- Breathe out gently and fully, away from the inhaler.
- Place the mouthpiece between your lips and breathe in deeply and forcefully.
- Hold your breath for up to 10 seconds, or as long as you can comfortably.
- Remove the inhaler from your mouth and breathe out gently.
- If a second dose is prescribed, repeat the steps.
- After use, rinse your mouth with water and spit it out to help prevent oral thrush.
