About Rotahaler Inhalation

Uses 

This Rotahaler inhalation device is used to treat Asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and to facilitate inhalation of dry powder medicines through the rotacap.

How it works

The Rotahaler is designed to be used with specific drug capsules called Rotacaps. These capsules contain a fine, dry powder of the medication. The device works by puncturing or splitting the capsule to release the powder, which is then inhaled by the user.

How to Use

Hold the Rotahaler Inhalation device vertically. Open the two halves of the device by pulling them apart. Check the mouthpiece to ensure it is clean and free of any foreign objects.

Take one Rotacap out of its bottle. Insert the capsule into the capsule chamber through the raised hole at the bottom of the device. The clear end of the capsule should go in first.

Directions For Use

• Hold the Rotahaler vertically and position the two halves so that the fin is not directly below the hole.
• Remove this rotacap from its bottle and insert it into the hole with the transparent end facing down.
• Close your lips tightly around it, head back slightly, and take a deep breath.
• Hold your breath for 10 seconds or as long as you are comfortable, and then exhale.

Cleaning and Care

It is recommended to clean the Rotahaler at least once a week to prevent powder buildup. Separate the two halves of the device and rinse them under clean running water.

Shake off excess water and allow the parts to air-dry completely before reassembling. The Rotahaler’s portable size and ease of use make it a popular and convenient device for managing chronic respiratory conditions.
